UFL, the competitive soccer game developed by Strikerz Inc. as a rival to EA FC (formerly FIFA) and eFootball (formerly PES), goes into open beta later this week! What do you need to do to play the game sponsored by Cristiano Ronaldo?
UFL open beta will be available for everyone to play from June 7-9
Strikerz Inc. has announced that the game’s open beta will be open to everyone depending on where you are located and is currently available for download. The game is currently available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
UFL, which will be further developed with the feedback from the open beta test, will be released in 2024. At least this is the plan for now.
Strikerz CEO Eugene Nashilov said in a statement: “We are delighted to announce that players around the world will be able to experience UFL first-hand in June. This event will be an important milestone in our journey and allows us to gather invaluable feedback from our community and improve the game as we aim to deliver a unique gaming experience when we launch later this year.”
Strikerz first announced UFL several years ago when the game was in early development. The company, which is part of parent company XTEN Limited, announced last December that one of its investors in the game’s financing was Portuguese world star Cristiano Ronaldo. Ronaldo is said to be actively involved in the game’s development.
During the open beta, players will be able to play both the main online mode and an offline local match mode. In the online mode, players can create their own soccer team from a roster of licensed professionals (including Ronaldo himself).
Players will use the resources from the matches they win to strengthen their team for future matches. UFL describes itself as a “fair, skill-based soccer experience” that rewards tactical skill and soccer savvy.
